PORTLAND—Municipal leaders entered the seventh hour of an emergency hearing Tuesday over a garnish discovered beside the entrées at a downtown bistro.
The council heard testimony from plating experts, neighborhood groups, and one man who had already eaten most of the evidence.
A final ruling was postponed pending an environmental review of the lemon twist.
